Christmas in SoCal

We spent Christmas with Christine's parents Doug and Sherrill in San Pedro. It was a fun week of playing in the yard, taking walks to see "Chrimpass wights", playing board games, and enjoying family time. We had a great Christmas Eve at the Zublin's house and on Christmas day we shared presents with Great Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Dan. Even though the SoCal weather stations were ranting about "Storm Watch!", that really meant that it wasn't quite warm enough to wear shorts every day.
Bows - still the best Christmas toy ever!

Vancouver

The first week in December we took a trip to Vancouver. We flew into Seattle, and visited for a few days with Dana and Justin Glessner and Drew and Amanda Franklin. In Seattle, we got to visit the zoo, as well as Top Pot Donuts (mmm, raspberry frosted chocolate donuts...). Then we drove to Vancouver, where we divided our time between Aaron and Lauren Lautzenhiser's home and Paul and Melanie Klintworth's home. The weather cooperated, and we got to visit all of our old haunts--Granville Island, Regent, dinner at Burgoo, walking and coffee in Kerrisdale, and the Christmas train in Stanley Park. Nicholas was a champ on the travel days, and we arrived home in California happy and whole.
